I ordered Spicie Foodie's Cookbook, "Epiphany of the Spices" from Lulu last month and received my copy last week. Just in time as I ready to do my weekly menu plan. This gorgeous cookbook is full of flavorful, healthy, delicious, foods for the soul! So happy to have received my copy.
Yesterday after doing a bit of shopping in the freezing, "ig'nant" cold, I couldn't have picked a better time to make her Apple Chai Muffins with Chai glaze. These slight sweet, popping with flavor, and bit "spicie" were a big hit with my whole family! And I enjoyed the first muffin while my little ones slept with a warm cup of black tea (i added some of the chai cream cheese glaze to it, mmmmmmm!).

ReplyDeleteThe Chai sounds interesting. I've baked English breakfast tea with ricotta before but I don't like drinking tea (I wish). Enjoy that cookbook of yours!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to invest in a few cookbooks. But it seems like every recipe is online for free. But I think cookbooks look great in the kitchen. It makes it look like I know what I'm doing!

ReplyDeleteYeah, you got Nancy's book too. I've made a couple recipes from it my self. Will have to try these. You don't like eggs, lol. I won't rub it in that it was rather warm here today in Cali, you should come for a visit and we could share some muffins. Hope all is well with the kiddies.
